I use to have this information, but have lost it somehow. I have one
server which stopped having a service (telnet). I removed it from
/etc/hobbit/etc-hosts and cycled hobbit. It now shows up in purple.
What is the command to remove this entry from being displayed at all.

TIA,

TIA,
Fran, you can just do:

~xymon/server/bin/xymon 127.0.0.1 "drop host.example.com test"

Where "test" would be telnet in your case

Hmmm....how about in hobbit speak (pre-xymon)? (code base installed in
"/usr/libexec/hobbit/server/bin")

He gave you basically the whole command. The documentation is installed with your software and is accessible from the web interface
